This October is Cybersecurity Awareness Month.
Last June, Verizon published its 2022 Data Breach Investigation Report. According to the report, 4751 attacks exploiting developer vulnerabilities were reported last year, 1273 of which resulted in confirmed data breaches.
Earlier last month, the SANS Institute published Think Like a Hacker, a research surveying over 300 ethical hackers. The results were quite spooky: 57% of hackers said they could complete an end-to-end attack in less than a day and break into most environments they test.
